State Farm Profile/Overview

State Farm was well known for being labelled as a “good neighbor” by “being there” for the customers. It was initially founded in 1922 by a retired farmer and insurance salesman named George Jacob “G.J.” Mecherle. Humble beginnings indeed became the origins of the State Farm. Currently, the company insures more cars and homes than any other insurer in the United States mutual company without compromising the focus on their policyholders.

Stories traced and began with the founder’s vision for the company. This is, “operate fairly and do the right thing for our customers.” Mecherle’s vision became the lighthouse of the company and became the core guidance up to this day.

From a humble single-line auto insurance company, State Farm now offers to close 100 products and service in five comprising, extensive service lines. Estimating to 35,000 claims per day, State Farm has established a reputable name to the US market. Certain involvement to other institutions and organization is their next step onward.

In terms of ranking in the Fortune 500 list, State Farm is currently ranked number 35 which is a pretty solid spot to be in. Employee directory leads to a number of 70,425 and going up as the operation continues.

  1. Please contact me in reference to a issue I need resolved. I’m a 46 year customer with State Farm and I would like some customer service.
I need an accounting of my Home Owners Insurance Policy that shows the recent overpayment by my mortgage company due to State Farm’s error of sending multiple incorrect invoices to them. Money was refunded to policyholder so that is not the issue.
The issue is to get a copy of the accounting showing overpayment to correct escrow account with the mortgage company.
    Thank you

  2. We’re longtime customers and this stinks to wholly hell. Stop using our money to poison the minds of 5 year old’s or were ditching the company. RE: State Farm accused of pushing LGBTQ+ books on kids, Consumers’ Research launches ‘Like a Creepy Neighbor’ WTF.

  3. I am a State Farm Insurance customer of 44 years. You have had not only all my personal Insurance: home, autos, children’s auto ins, but Business Insurance, umbrella policy, liability ins. etc! I have never had a problem with any claim as long as my agent handled the claim. BUT with my NOW claim of water damage to my home, I am having holy heck !!

Nothing but trouble!! Your hostile “adjusters” are the worst I have ever dealt with in my life! Every time I talk to one of them, they each tell me something different! My claim has been through the 2 years of covid where contractors were affected and I could not get bids. I had it twice. I am requesting an extension of 6 months of build back , claim time, replacement time because of this unexpected pandemic! Your women adjusters have a huge problem of running their pie hole and not letting the customer explain their problem! They have a problem with power and control! All but one of your adjusters that have been to my residence seems to have been plucked from the alley.

Not one person standing in water inside of their residence wants to hear from the “adjuster” what their insurance will not pay! What a thing to tell a dedicated customer! Or any customer for that matter! Your retired farmer “founder” Mr Mercherle had a motto “Like a good neighbor St Farm is here” He is rolling in his grave over things that his company is now doing to their customers, you know, the ones who make you a huge profit! I am waiting to see what, if anything, any of you do to make this claim of replacement cost (of which I paid for years for with the understanding I would have money to replace my losses) and extension a reality 1810W860F

  4. We have been customers for more than 30 years and I am appalled with your LGBQ stance. I will be taking ALL our accounts elsewhere. Go woke go broke!

  5. I have been battling with my agent. George dadas in chagrin falls, ohio over a car that I purchased and a claim since november of 2022. I have had car insurance with state farm since I was twenty one years old. I am sixty four years old and i’ve never had this problem. I tried to tell Anne at the George DAD AS agency that the accident on my record was not mine. And there’s an accident from my nephew, Kenneth Dean. The third was not on my account. She told me that my insurance was closed closed. And that I did not have insurance. A lot of people that I talk to said that my policy. Was active until may thirty first two thousand twenty three. My name is randy dean senior *****355. My policy was under randy dean enterprises. I still have a State Farm policy for 2 trailor’s that is active. I paid the bill this morning. I also just mailed a complaint in to the regulatory complaint administrative team. Please call me when you get this to state that you did receive this. Have a blessed day
